Forestry

The Forestry Department is committed to providing a healthy urban forest. It is our goal to provide the community with the most current information on the care of trees and shrubs.

The City of Caldwell has proudly been a Tree City U.S.A. member for the past 28 years. We celebrate Arbor Day every year, planting new trees in honor of this event. Being involved in this program shows as a community we are dedicated to preserving the beauty of our city. We are the second longest running Tree City USA in the state.

The Forestry Dept. will evaluate trees and shrubs for the residents of Caldwell upon request. We will give our recomendations of what is wrong with the plant and what can be done to help it. We can also help with choosing the right tree for the space that you have.
