This portion of the Street Department website is here to provide you a list of current and upcoming road closure information related to all City Department caused road closures in the City of Caldwell. Road closures caused by other agencies such as the Department of Transportation on non-city maintained roadways or roadways outside of the Caldwell city limits will not appear here. Beginning October 19 until November 19 there will be a lane closure on Griffiths Park Way near Linden Road. Hess Construction will be working on improvements for Griffiths Park that include pouring new sidewalks, adding pathways, and striping four new crosswalks. Information signs will be posted in the area and flagging personnel will be present once the crosswalk striping begins. Beginning December 17 until December 24 there will be a lane closure on Linden Road between Arrowhead & Rawhide. Idaho Power Company will be adjusting switches to allow for easier operation during outages. Information signs will be posted in the area and flagging personnel will be present to direct traffic around the work site. For further information please contact Idaho Power at 465-8641.
Beginning November 10 until November 24 there will be a road closure on Arthur Street between 5th Avenue & 6th Avenue and a road closure on 6th Avenue between Arthur Street & Blaine Street. Caldwell Water Department will be upsizing a water main. Barricades will be used to block access to traffic and information signs will be posted in the area.
