Definition of a Round Table Meeting (per City Code Section 10-03-11):
An informal preapplication meeting scheduled through the planning and zoning department wherein staff from the fire department, engineering department,building department and planning and zoning department are present to provide comments, ordinance requirements, code requirements, policies and standards to applicants relative to proposed projects.
Process of the Round Table Meeting:
1. Obtain the Round Table Information Form and complete in its entirety.
- The form may be emailed, faxed or mailed to you upon request.
- The form can be obtained at the Planning and Zoning Office at 621Cleveland Boulevard.
- The form is available on the City of Caldwell’s website at
www.cityofcaldwell.com
2. After the form has been completed in its entirety and returned to the Planning and Zoning Department, any planning and zoning staff member can schedule your Round Table Meeting time. The form may be returned through email, fax, mail or in person.
3. Round Table Meetings are held on Thursdays at three different times:9 to 9:45 a.m.; 10 to 10:45 a.m.; or 11 to 11:45 a.m.
4. Special Round Table meetings may be scheduled when there is an urgent need. Special meetings can only be scheduled through Anne Marie Skinner, Senior Planner/Community Development Coordinator,at 455-4662 or amskinner@ci.caldwell.id.us
5. Round Table Meetings will not be scheduled until the Round Table Information Form is completed in its entirety and returned to the Planning and Zoning Department. Staff is ready, willing and able to help you complete any or all of the form if assistance is required.
6. Applicants will receive a reminder call from Planning and Zoning several days before the Round Table to confirm.
7. An agenda, a checklist and an attendance sign-up sheet will be utilized at the Round Table meeting.
8. Completeness of information presented at the Round Table is based upon the completeness and accuracy of the information given on the Round Table Information Form.
9. Round Tables are not plan reviews. Should you desire a plan review prior to submittal of any application, please contact Anne Marie Skinner for a special Round Table Meeting.
