
The City of Caldwell Finance Department strives to deliver value to the citizens of Caldwell by providing efficient, accurate reporting to the general public and the various departments within the city. A caring, well-trained staff monitors and reviews financial data to ensure that policies, procedures and transactions fall within City Council directives and governmental accounting standards.
The Finance Department administers all financial functions within the City. The Accounting Supervisor manages all banking transactions, bond and debt payments and oversees accounts payable, cash receipts, utility payments and financial reports for the City. The Staff Accountant manages miscellaneous billings, local improvement district activities, grants, fixed assets and oversees payroll and purchasing activities. Budgeting, auditing, investments, capital construction projects, financial reporting for Caldwell East Urban Renewal Agency and oversight of the Information Services department fall under the direction of the Finance Director.
