Welcome to the Caldwell Industrial Airport. Our mission is to provide the best possible aviation opportunity at a reasonable cost for our customers and have a great time while doing it.
In 1971 local aviation visionaries realized the potential and need for a new airport in the "Hub of the Northwest": An airport not surrounded by housing developments and obstructions. 460 acres of land was purchased alongside Interstate 84, offering quick and easy access.
Caldwell Airport has grown into a vibrant airport with vast growth potential. Expanses of open ground and airspace lie to the North, South and the East; therefore, air navigation is relatively unconstrained. Within 1 mile of the airport exists substantial opportunities for industrial and commercial development. Caldwell Airport is a full-service airport, offering one-stop shopping for mechanics, fuel islands, sky diving and other amenities. Caldwell also serves as the relief airport for Boise International Airport.
Caldwell is the jumping off point to Idaho's back country with strips in all directions. Our convenient location offers the same flight distance to Salt Lake, Reno, Portland, Seattle and Billings.
