Welcome to the City of Caldwell Fire & Rescue Department. Caldwell Fire & Rescue was established in 1892 and is now comprised of two fire stations. We currently serve 12 Sq. Miles within the City and 120 Sq. Miles in rural areas. The city area is comprised of approximately 30,000 people and approximately 25,000 people within the rural area. These areas are currently covered by 22 firefighters in the City and 10 rural firefighters. In addition, there are a total of fifteen (15) paid on call firefighters, three (3) administrative personnel and one (1) office clerk.
Together, we work hard to provide quality and efficient fire safety and rescue services, fire prevention services and hazardous materials services to the citizens of Caldwell and it’s surrounding rural areas.
