Friends of the Depot is a new, non-profit organization formed for the purpose of restoring and renovating our downtown Caldwell train depot (7th and Main Street). We will soon see our historic depot used as a downtown “centerpiece” with the award of a $500,000 restoration grant. There is a newly constructed plaza out front of the Depot and planned ongoing public and private sponsored events such as; festivals, annual block parties, tours, and more!

The Caldwell Historic Preservation Commission is designing an annual award for best exterior improvement on a home in the SRHD neighborhood. Examples include, paint, landscaping, and restoration.
