CPD Association

About the Caldwell Police Association


		The Caldwell Police Department (CPD) Association was formed to serve and support 1) the community and 2) those individuals in law enforcement. Most of the CPD employees, sworn, non-sworn and civilian, are members of the association and pay monthly dues. Veterans of the CPD are welcome to join with no monthly dues. Meetings are held monthly, and are conducted according to The Roberts Rules of order. The CPD Association sponsors local events including Shop with a Cop, The Idaho Youth Games, and an annual Softball Tournament as well as selecting local high school seniors to receive college scholarships. Funds are also used to purchase equipment for the department. More information about our events follows on this page.

Fundraisers & Donations


		Fundraisers take place throughout the year. Membership

CPD sworn, non-sworn and civilian employees or retirees may complete a Membership Application. Please return the completed application to the Caldwell Police Station, 100 S. 5th Ave, Caldwell, ID 83605, Attention: Police Association President.


		Shop With a Cop


		Thanks to many generous donations of time and money, children who could not otherwise afford the holidays are given a chance to go shopping with a member of the CPD. Children are selected based on an application. Applications can be received by contacting the association, and are due at the end of November.

Sports Events

For information regarding any of these events please contact the CPD.

Annual Law Enforcement Softball Tournament This events gathers teams from all over the valley to compete for a coveted trophy and bragging rights. This event takes place in the summer each year, and law enforcement agencies take turns hosting.

Dodge Ball Tournament Scheduled for May or June of 2005, this dodge ball tournament will invite teams to play in costume. Keep watching. More information will follow.
